Outstanding work of everything Disneyland from 1955 to present. Mr. Strodder has
done an exhaustive job in compiling everything Disney-aholics need to know, including esoteric and hard to find information all in one handy volume. It’s all here: rides,designers,eateries,TV/movie specials, etc. This book is a must-have for anyone interested in Disneyland, and it will quickly settle any friendly disputes among theme-park Nazi’s as to dates, names, etc. Great read!

I bought this book for the kids to read before and during our trip to DisneyLand. Bo-ring. Couldn’t get anyone interested. We’d read “MouseTales” before, which is MUCH MUCH better. This reads like a very authorized travelogue. Nothing interesting. All pics are black and white and dull. Buy MouseTales instead. Rating: 2 / 5

Although the book does have lots of information about all the rides and restaurants, and events, I found that it was not very specific or detailed. The restaurants had no menu or reviews on the food quality. It only gave a brief description about the restaurant. The rides had no approximate wait times or individual reviews about each ride. The book does not include information about the history of the corn dogs or any other special mickey pretzels and treats in the park, nor does it include any information about the deaths that have occured in the park. I liked the book, but felt that it lacked lot of important facts and information and could’ve been written better. Rating: 3 / 5

My wife got this for me before we went to Disneyland last year and it was really interesting while we were on vacation. After we returned home I found myself still picking it up and looking through it to find interesting facts.
I can easily use it to look up anything I hear about in relation to Disneyland. If you are a fan of the Disney parks this is a must. Rating: 5 / 5
