We want to go to the caribbean and stay at an all inclusive caribbean resort. What are the best islands in the Caribbean. Nothing too pricy but still good quality and can accomodate kids ages(12-17) as well.

I would go to Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is safer than Dominican Republic, but Dominican Republic is just as beautiful though. In PR, you can venture out into the island and explore instead of being stuck at the boring hotel. In DR, you are recommended to stay in the hotel for safety reasons. I don’t have any hotel names off the top of my head but I remember Rincon Beach Resort being beautiful. I have houses there, so I am not up-to-date with the hotels. Good luck to you, for whichever place you choose! You’ll have a great time!

you should to Puerto Rico !!!!!!!!!!!!!! El conquistador in Fajardo at the east coast just beautiful it has a water park is near the rain forest and near palomino island a beautiful little paradise, PR is safer, more english speakers, malls, lot of beaches and everything is so close you visit the whole island.

Well I would sayt eh better islands to go for vacation in the Caribbean especaially with kids 12-17 would be Barbados, Trinidad, Bahamas,USVI and Puerto Rico!
I would especially recommend Barbados and Trinidad though.
Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night. In Barbados you can never get bored because there is something for every type of person to take part in. Barbados is also romatic. Activites for kids and older ones…you will not regret visiting Barbados! The island has great beaches and is wonderful for shopping too! In Barbados you can also swim with Turtles.

As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast and has a lovely beach view.
http://barbadosbeachclub.com/
The Barbados Beach Club is an all inclusive resort which offers breakfast, lunch, after noon tea, dinner, unlimited drinks, an exercise room (gym), pool aerobics, snorkeling, scuba diving lessons, windsurfing, Hobie cat cruises, beach volley ball, games room, free shuttle service to and from the main town and soooo much more. The activities that are included in this all-inclusive package are astounding.

The Barbados beach club has 3 restaurants on site and one of them is buffet the other two are a la carte. The two a la carte are seafood and the other is Italian.

If you are looking for all-inclusive resorts, Dominican Republic is the largest all-inclusive vacation spot in the Carribean, and one of the largest in the world. You will definitely have more options there then in any other country in the Carribean.
The two most popular all-inclusive locations are Puerto Plata and Punta Cana. I have been to Punta Cana. It is very beautiful, and I would highly reccommend it.
I think when you are choosing an all inclusive resort you should consider the amenities, and if they have sister hotels. Let me explain. The cool thing about all inclusive resort is that if you are a guest at one hotel you can visit it’s sister hotel. You can use their amenities, pools, beaches, spas, etc and not pay an extra dime. This even includes food!
One huge resort chain in Punta Cana is the Barcelo Rosert Hotels. There are 5 sister resorts in total:
Barcelo Punta Cana
Barcelo Bavaro Palace
Barcelo Bavaro Golf
Barcelo Bavaro Beach
Barcelo Dominican Beach
and there are shuttles for all five come and go as you please between each one.
I have visited the Barcelo Bavaro Beach and it was plenty of fun. There are so many things to do each night between all of the resorts that you won’t have time to do it all.
The hotel was huge, beautiful, and affordable! I saw plenty of families, and they have events catered to them (such as karaoke, etc.).

Trip Advisor.com is my favorite website for travel. It has reviews from people who have visited resorts and such.
Good luck!
