How can you keep photos from being copied from a Yahoo Group photo album?

I’ve had members complain that their photos have appeared in various places on the internet. They were originally posted to our Yahoo Group photo album. Is there a way to secure the photos?

Yahoo has no way to disable right click. so when members add anything to the photo area, or files, send a reminder here and there you’re (as a group) not responsible if they’re used else where. since only your members can be the ones doing this, I’d send a reminder it’s against Yahoo TOS, I have this below link as a file in my groups and a calendar reminder
http://groups.yahoo.com/local/guidelines.html
those members would need to report the site they seen their photo’s at and let them know they are the owners of it, and didn’t give permission to use it.

Don’t put them up.

If a photo can be displayed on the screen, it can be copied by those viewing it. If nothing else, they can take a picture of the computer screen with a camera, right? More commonly, a ‘screen grab’ program can grab/copy the pixels off the screen. So the fact that Yahoo doesn’t disable right click isn’t really the issue.
The issue is if you want to protect your photos only share them with people you trust.
KeepandShare Photo is a great online group photo sharing service where you can precisely control who can see a photo album and who cannot.

Yep… anything that can be displayed on your monitor can be grabbed.. Just push the Print Screen button on your keyboard and paste it to Photoshop, Paint or even MS Word then you already have what is shown in your screen.
If you want, just before you upload the pictures, put watermark on it.
