I honestly wish I could start enjoying complete films and television shows at youtube, however it’s honestly too bad that is definitely never going to happen. #VIDEOPOSTERID#, which is exactly why I’m choosing stream episodes (.) net at this moment to enjoy the tv shows and movies and youtube for every thing else!

Television is the eponymous third album by American art punk band Television. The album was released in 1992, fourteen years after the band’s second studio album and subsequent break up in 1978. A video for “Call Mr. Lee” was filmed and aired on MTV to limited play.

@Ilusnemac I think the song you’re after is Parade by Magazine, not Television

I’m reading “Please Kill Me” right now. That’s the only reason I heard of Television and why I just looked for an example of their music. I like it.

I just read about them in “Babylon’s Burning – from Punk to Grunge” by Clinton Heyling…..really good book about the NY scene the London scene and what came after…till Cobains death. Some rock historians believe that the punk ride began with the seminal Stooges, MC5, New York Dolls, Television, Ramones, Blondie and continued in London with the Pistols, Clash, etc..coming back in to Seattle where it assumed different forms and died with Cobain.
Not shure how to place the New Wave…

This song is really great! I’ve never heard of these guys before, but I’m enjoying this. Not a big fan of the guys voice, but this style is about so much more than that.

I got this book as a Christmas present this year, and I’ve been reading it for the last month and a half or so. I’m almost finished and yes, it’s is a great book really informative as far as the punk rock scene goes in New York.

Thank you for this.
I have no words to describe the talent… what a phrasing, totally suberb.

We are big fans of Television and the new wave scene. If you could have a listen to our stuff (click our name and it will take you to our videos) and let us know what you think it would be much appreciated. Thanks

I will make note of that. I like music a great deal.
Might I in turn reccomend “Please Kill Me” by Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain. Quite possibly the best book written on the subject of 1970′s era punk rock in existance. Not a great source for the london stuff or anything post 1979, but essential for everything that came before. If you aren’t already familliar with it of course…
