I bought this item to clean dentures. Even with cleaning powder added and after 3 cycles of 3 mins each, what went in is almost what came out. Unfortunately the shipping and return costs ($8 each) do not allow me to return the item. I do not recommend this product for heavy items. Rating: 1 / 5

There were no real directions with this product — there was a plastic basket and some sort of plastic rack but they were not shown on the product diagram. I ran some peices of jewelry several times with only marginal improvement. Rating: 1 / 5

This is my second machine, the first one lasted about 2 years and I used it several times a week. Easy to use, I add a few drops of Shaklee’s Basic H to the water. I run my jewelry through several cycles. I like that I can put other items in there as well. Rating: 3 / 5

I tried this with every possible variable to try and clean my engagement ring, with absolutely zero results. Tried it with cold water and soap. Still grimy. Tried it with hot water and soap. Still grimy. Tried it using the awkward plastic holder that came with it, with hot water and soap. No change. I tried running it for 6 cycles in a row. Nothing. Then I tried getting all up in arms at how nothing was working, at which point my fiance grabbed the bottle brush out of the sink, squirted some dish soap on it, and scrubbed the underside of my ring until it looked as flawless as the day he gave it to me.
I’ve since gotten “more sophisticated” by using an old toothbrush with exfoliating hand soap, and my ring has never looked better.
