This TV lacks a number of features. The sound is really poor, using built-in speakers. I called Samsung complaining about poor sound, they didn’t like hearing it. Poor AVC…audio volume goes weak then strong and never the same strength when changing channels. One reason for poor sound, Samsung says, is internal speakers face backward, so if you have TV up against wall, sound hits wall. If they know this, why don’t they mount them forward…? Owners instruction manual is absurdly poor. Written on cheap paper, small draft-quality text, poor descriptions, and ridiculously inferior setup information. Shame on Samsung. (This set is made in Mexico…..that explains a lot ! ). If you want good owner manuals, look to Panasonic, Visio, Toshiba, etc…but not Samsung…! The Samsung remote control is cramped & limited…! One good feature is picture quality and color tone when you use the ‘Natural’ setting….which is the closest thing to natural skin tone I’ve seen on any TV…and the sharpness is excellent….sharp, crisp, clear picture….just beautiful when watching the nature programs…! Sound and picture quality looks great, but the picture is not in full-screen! there are two black strips on the top and bottom sides, and the display area of screen looks like a narrow band! Rating: 3 / 5

As I was one of the early buyers, the shipping took some time. The problem with the piece was that the LCD screen remained blank after switching the TV on. I called Samsung Support, who registered the complaint and confirmed that someone from technical support will call and set up an appointment. But their tech support never called back. I then called up Amazon and requested a replacement. Amazon support confirmed that this product can be replaced for no charge but due to a bug in their system they are unable to order a replacement. I then asked them to cancel the order. The shipping agency is a little inflexible in terms of pickup timing. They work 5 days a week and I had to stay home on the day of pickup. The refund was processed promptly.
The good thing about this product is that its rated for 110V~240V and therefore can work across geographies. Rating: 1 / 5

This television will almost have a lifespan of two years. Then it will continuously power cycle, turn itself on and off (and drive you crazy), until the picture stops working altogether. This is a known problem to Samsung. Just do a internet search on this tv with “problems” in the search engine. You’re golden for the first year, then look out… Rating: 1 / 5

I am on my second 46c630 from Amazon.
Both have come with a stand that does not fit this model.
Amazon has been helpful but they can only replace the whole tv-not parts.
Samsung has not been that helpful saying it will take some time to send the proper part.
If you intend to use the stand do not order this tv until you are assured that it will come with the proper one.
After 3 weeks I received a replacement stand that is the same as the one I had.
It does not work!
