Great book.
Very easy to read, insightful text and inspiring images, much more fun than a regular and expected book about business.
Great tools and methodologies to make it happen.
I’m about to make good use of it in my own initiatives.

This book uses a visual thinking process and layout to demonstrate what a business model is, business model patterns with real-life examples, and lots of support translating classic strategy views into the author’s framework. I’d recommend this book highly to everyone that is interested in business strategy, innovation, and organizational design. The information is simple and immediately applicable. Its work both the time and the money – something I say about relatively few books.
The only complaint I have is the small font. This book was written for the younger generation. Us old guys need cheaters and still have to squint. Use a bigger font in the next version.

This book makes business models understandable and enjoyable for designers. And it makes design methods and processes relevant to business consultants. Great, because these two find themselves more and more often working together on innovation and in service design!

I already downloaded the free preview PDF a few months ago. When I wanted to order the book it was out of stock. Luckily it became available again and I ordered it right away. The PDF doesn’t do justice to the overall design of the book. By using a very clear and unique design it’s very easy to read and visually remember the contents of the book.
I’m only halfway trough the book but already find myself thinking in a different way about business models for my company. Up to this point I have only one minor complaint: Although the examples in this book of business models used by Google, Apple, etc. are very clear, I think it will prove useful to have way more of those examples but with small differences of the main business models. Or zoom into the details of business models. I think this will inspire the reader even more. But then again, maybe somebody starts a website where just this is discussed… If you know such a website, I would greatly appreciate it when you share it.
