I LOVE music. Almost ALL music to be honest. I have had some really good luck with free downloads from Amazon(albums, samplers & individual songs). Which has kept me comimg back to look for new music I want to purcahse. Especially because I almost ALWAYS find something new (and free!) to download while I am here browsing & shopping.
Unfortunately, this one was NOT one of those strokes of luck. The music is… lacking, uninspiring and dull. The songs all sound very much the same as the one before. There is no ‘catch’ in any of the songs that makes you wanna sing, dance, tap your foot, or even HUM too.
I’ve deleted all of the songs in this sampler from my computer. It was not worth the time to download, or the space it took. Sorry I don’t have a better review.
ONE SMALL NOTE…(I don’t think I posted a review for the Christmas Sampler I downloaded this year. I praised it on FaceBook. If anyone is interested in the info for that FREE album download I’d be happy to provide it. It was fantastic, and I couldn’t believe it was free. Thanks Amazon for that one!!)

I was very pleased to see the Cody Gill Band make this compilation. I would recommend that anyone that likes their song to check out their other two albums. I also enjoyed the other bands that made the album, and have seen most of them many times in concerts.

Loved it: this sampler has sent me scurrying after no less than three artists, and it’s staying high enough on my playlist that there will probably be more. And for the price, you sure can’t beat it. Recommended, particularly if you’ve had your fill of the pop dreck that passes for music in Nashville.

I’m glas this was a sampler & I didn’t have to spend money to find out I just don’t care for it.
I love country music. I love rock. I love a blend of the two. However nothing on this sampler really caught my attention.
Basically it sounds like a bunch of stuff from bands you’d find in any dive bar.

This set confirms what I’ve always said about Texas: that state’s musicians make up for its politicians.
